Vaughn was selected as the construction manager at-risk for construction of the UTHealth Houston Public Health Education and Research Building which will house the most prestigious school of public health in the state and fourth largest in the country. The building will consist of research laboratories, distance learning classrooms, an auditorium, a teaching kitchen, and collaborative spaces to support disciplines including epidemiology, genetics, nutrition, health policy, data science, and health promotion. The 10 story, 350,000SF facility is located in the Texas Medical Center’s Helix Park and is slated to reach substantial completion in time for the fall 2026 semester.
