The International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) Renovation will help support Texas A&M University’s scientific ocean drilling program with 8,700 SF of updated labs and research spaces. The renovation includes equipment relocated from the university’s decommissioned vessel, R/V JOIDES Resolution. The upgraded facility ensures uninterrupted research for scientists and technicians to continue their critical work analyzing core samples from the ocean floor, unlocking the mysteries of Earth’s history, seafloor composition, and microbiological life.
