We built-out 25,000 SF on Levels 1, 2, and 3 of this existing facility. The first floor provides radiology treatment and imaging support for new MRI, CT scan, mammography, X-ray, and ultrasound equipment. The second floor features a clinic suite with 10 exam rooms, physician offices, a laboratory, a nurse station, and public waiting areas; and an infusion suite with 14 private infusion rooms, a pharmacy, nursing support areas, and public waiting areas. The third floor contains offices.
This project renovated the upper floors of a fully operational facility. But, the Owner did not want any access through the main building entrances and building stairwells. We constructed an exterior material staging platform using scaffolding. We used the platform to transport materials into the building and remove trash. The scaffold included an external stair for workers to enter and exit through a temporary opening in the exterior of the building. This solution maintained full clinic operations.
