We performed renovation and infrastructure improvements in the occupied Zeller Building and Urschel Tower concurrently. In the Zeller Building, we converted an existing office and infusion space into a pharmacy to mix chemotherapy treatments on site. The space also includes clean rooms, storage rooms, office space, and a conference room. In the Urschel Tower, we renovated Floors One through Three to create an infusion center, welcome center, family center, and dining services facility.
Procedures used by the cleaning trade contractor to perform a terminal clean of the pharmacy were insufficient. The cleaning involved a rigorous post clean sampling and testing with strict passing limits. We helped develop and implement a cleaning procedure using the proper cleaning agents with their proper latent times. We also ensured the cleaning trade contractor wore the proper attire for the safety of their personnel and to ensure the terminal clean passed test results.
