The single-story, free-standing emergency facility consists of a lab, pharmacy, trauma room, exam rooms, X-ray and CT scan room, offices, and associated support spaces. We installed medical gas systems and nurse call systems. The exterior consists of brick/stone and EIFS and includes emergency and ambulance canopies, a generator enclosure, and a dumpster enclosure. Our scope of work also included excavation, utilities tie-ins, paving, landscaping, and signage installation.
When we water tested the windows during the window installation, we identified minor flaws in the sill flashing. We developed an in-place mock up and worked with the EIFS contractor, brick and glazing contractors, and waterproofing contractor to identify the location of the water infiltration. After two modifications to the mock-up, we identified the solution and adjusted the specifications before installing the remaining windows.
