The 26th floor of the 600 Congress Building, a 32-story high-rise building in downtown Austin, is designed with tenants in mind. The 6,000 SF space features open office spaces, a lounge, a bar, and a fitness center. High-end finishes like wood panels, plaster, rubberized flooring, and terrazzo create an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. The common area, accessible to all businesses in the building, fosters collaboration and a sense of community while offering impressive amenities.
The 26th floor, a busy upper-floor transfer level, presented a unique challenge with its high pedestrian traffic. To ensure smooth access during construction, we collaborated closely with building management and implemented temporary barriers, effectively guiding corridor traffic around our work area. Weekly logistics meetings kept everyone informed, and traffic and deliveries were meticulously coordinated to minimize disruption. Our meetings ensured building management could effectively prepare tenants for the ongoing work within the building.
