The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio broke ground in a virtual ceremony for its new $270 million, 448,000 SF Inpatient Facility, which Vaughn is the construction manager-at-risk on. The region’s first-of-its-kind multi-specialty and research hospital will house approximately 130 beds. Over 1,000 experts in cancer, neurology, bariatrics, spine and thoracic surgery will provide the most advanced treatment options available, including early-phase clinical trials and therapies not previously available in the region. Substantial completion is scheduled for May 2023. The architect is HKS, Inc.
