The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston recently selected Vaughn Construction to serve as the construction manager-at-risk for the new Health and Human Services Continuum of Care Campus. The new inpatient behavioral health treatment facility will provide effective treatment for patients in crisis and gradually stage their progress through the structured residential environment to successfully assimilate back into society. The facility will feature inpatient treatment, residential treatment, residential independent living, an outpatient assessment center, and a community conference center. The anticipated construction cost of the project is $90 million, and construction is scheduled to begin in June 2019 with substantial completion in November 2021.
