This locker room facility features a modern entry lobby, sports medicine space, training room, equipment storage, showers, and expanded locker room space featuring 120 new, state-of-the-art custom player lockers. Additional up-grades to the facility include new flooring, custom wall graphics, and modern lighting, including LED toe-kick lighting at the base of the locker islands. Lounge furnishings, big-screen televisions, and open spaces create an inviting atmosphere for athletes and coaching staff to gather, study, and relax.
As we were preparing for the locker installation, we discovered the design did not specify each of the 120 lockers have its own junction box and manual air damper. We worked with Populous to design a painted PLAM panel that would hang on cleats, providing access to the junction boxes and the dampers without the installation of 125 separate access doors, which would have been unsightly. We absorbed the additional costs for the individual connections to the lockers.
