The Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center (ECC) in League City marks the firstin the area for Houston Methodist and follows Vaughn’s recent renovation of the Houston Methodist Emergency Care Center in Deer Park. The 10,000 SF steel building contains X-ray, CT imaging, ultrasound capabilities, and ten patient exam rooms. Fully staffed and operating 24 hours a day, the new ECC treats all pediatric and adult emergencies, making high-quality healthcare more convenient.
We encountered power issues and long wait times with the utility company. To expedite the process, our team worked with the Owner to establish electricity with a local utility provider at the beginning of the project. To keep construction moving, we set up a temporary outside unit to maintain conditioned air and humidity, allowing us to work on the finishes that required climate control during installation.
