This wellness center is devoted to clientele aged 55 and older. It is designed to provide clients with advanced health care techniques through clinical care collaboration between physicians and clinicians from CHI St. Joseph Health and medical students and faculty from Texas A&M Health Science Center. The facility features a large gym, paired with a rehabilitation pool on the first floor, and 22 patient exam rooms on the second floor to house on-site dietitians and physical therapists.
Prior to installation of the metal panels around the mechanical screen wall, the metal panel installer noticed the panels needed intermediate supports to correctly install on the steel structure. We could not use the proposed l-angle steel as support because the roofing membrane was already installed and protecting it would require additional costly measures. We suggested cold form metal framing instead, which provided a more cost-efficient alternative while addressing the issue.
