Blinn College recently celebrated the grand opening of the Campus Administration Building, a 46,000 SF facility for which Vaughn served as the construction manager-at-risk. The building will house many college operations offices, such as academic advising, enrollment services, financial aid, and disability and veteran services.
Over 300 guests including employees, students, city leaders, the Blinn College District Board of Trustees, and community members attended the ceremony in the building’s second-floor banquet room.
Dr. Mary Hensley, Ed.D., Chancellor of the Blinn College District, said the new administrative building is an important step for Blinn College. “We celebrate a milestone that symbolizes Blinn’s commitment to providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming environment for all who visit our campus,” she said. “It is a modern facility designed to serve as a gateway to higher education and student success.”
The new campus features a welcoming monument sign, and an intramural field. With the opening of the new building, all the student services previously located at the Tejas Center will be located on the Bryan Campus.
“This new facility will offer a one stop shop for vital educational resources to current and prospective students in the area,” said a Vaughn project manager. “Vaughn is honored to contribute to the betterment of our community through this building."
