Tarleton State University celebrated the topping out milestone for the new Health Professions Building, for which Vaughn serves as construction manager-at-risk. The 92,000 SF building is part of the university’s initiative to add three new degree programs, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and physician assistant studies.
"The topping out milestone is significant to Vaughn and our trade partners because it celebrates our hard work and dedication so far," said a Vaughn project engineer. "Over 200 people from Vaughn, the design team, structural consultant, MEP consultant, and Owner attended a celebratory lunch. [A Vaughn superintendent] spoke about Vaughn's appreciation for our trade contractors and thanked them for the long and hard days everyone has put into the project. I enjoyed seeing all of us gather to highlight our hard work on the building."
The project is slated to reach substantial completion in June 2025.
