Vaughn recently topped out the structural steel frame for the Hilltop Housing Complex, a 241,000 SF residential facility at Texas State University in San Marcos.
The Hilltop Housing Complex at Texas State University, consisting of two seven-story student housing structures, will collectively house 1,006 new beds. The 241,000 SF complex, located on a hill in San Marcos, will provide distinct living communities and include a central courtyard to promote community collaboration.
“Our workers have put in tireless efforts at this facility over the past 18 months,” said a Vaughn superintendent. “This project benefits Texas State with additional housing starting with the fall 2024 semester. Thank you to Texas State’s Department of Housing and Residential Life and the project managers for the opportunity to bring a new housing complex to the university.”
The project is slated to reach substantial completion in June 2024.
