Howard Hughes Corporation and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center welcomed area patients, community leaders, and stakeholders during the ribbon cutting for the new Regional Cancer Care Center. Vaughn served as the construction manager-at-risk for the $35 million project. EYP served as the architecture firm.
The new, three-story, 210,000 SF facility, provides patients in The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, and communities north of Houston access to the nation’s top-ranked comprehensive cancer center. The building includes an ambulatory treatment center, diagnostic imaging, a diagnostic laboratory center, medical oncology, outpatient clinics (breast, dermatology, endocrine surgery, general medical oncology, gynecologic oncology, pain management, thoracic surgery), radiation oncology, pharmacy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and surgical oncology.
