The University of North Texas (UNT) hosted a column-raising ceremony in April to celebrate the construction milestone of its new Frisco campus. Vaughn Construction is serving as construction manager-at-risk on the $80 million multipurpose academic facility, the flagship of the Frisco campus. It will incorporate collaborative learning spaces student support spaces, and communal gathering areas. Through UNT Frisco’s innovative education programs, students will collaborate with leaders and professionals in their chosen career field on real-world projects. The project is anticipated to reach substantial completion in September 2022. The architect is Ayers Saint Gross.
