Alamo Colleges selected Vaughn as the construction manager-at-risk for five identified projects of the 2017 Bond Capital Improvement Program at San Antonio College. The bond program provides funds to improve infrastructure, redevelop interiors and exteriors, and repurpose facilities across 10 of Alamo College’s campuses. Vaughn was awarded all five projects for the San Antonio College campus, a total value of $67,000,000. The projects include a Parking Garage with adjoining Childhood Development Center and Police Station, Fletcher Administration Building Addition, Physical Plant Improvements, McAllister Fine Arts Renovation, and Chance Academic Center Renovation projects. We will begin work on the Parking Garage and Childhood Development Center in late summer 2018.
