Texas A&M University is planning a new building at its Higher Education Center in McAllen to house a nursing program that will address educational and employment needs in the Rio Grande Valley. Most of the 60,000 SF facility will be dedicated to nursing, while 5,600 SF is planned for the School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. Vaughn is serving as construction manager-at-risk for the building, offering more opportunities for local students to remain in the area while earning their degrees.
